Autopsy Tech Reveals The Strangest Ways People Have Passed A…
Dolly, a forensic pathology assistant from Colorado, has social media’s attention with her take on the most common causes of accidental d*ath based on autopsies.
The 32-year-old regularly posts about her work life on TikTok and was recently interviewed by numerous news outlets. During the interview, she shared her experiences and offered advice that she thinks could save lives.
She claimed that one of the most common k*llers is a food favored by 70% of Americans.

“Steak at an advanced or extremely young age is so dangerous. Please chew your food thoroughly or just skip the steak all together,” she warned audiences in an interview with the Daily Mail on July 12.
She addressed elderly people specifically when she said, “You can’t chew anymore.
“You’re going to choke and d*e, and then you end up in the morgue. And I have to retrieve it from your esophagus. It is disgusting,” she toldNewsweek.

But this cause of demise was only second on her list.
Do not dare or provoke people, many do and end up on the morgue table
Topping Dolly’s list of k*llers is provocation, or as she calls it “daring someone to harm you.”
She claimed that questions like “What are you going to do, stab me?” were another common cause for ending up at the morgue.

“They are going to shoot and/or stab you” she warned her viewers in one of her videos. “Don’t say that. That’s stupid.”
“Don’t tempt fate. In an altercation or argument, don’t give people ideas on how to k*ll you,” she later elaborated to the Daily Mail.
Small individuals and top-loading washing machines are not friends

Number three on her list of suburban humanity’s fatal enemies are top-loader washing machines, claiming the lives of shorter and smaller individuals when they reach too far into them.
D*ath in this case is the result of positional asphyxia—when a person’s posture impedes breathing and deprives their body of oxygen.
At number four is cheap car jacks. “If I was underneath a car, I’m not going to trust the $6.99 Harbor Freight jacks,” Dolly warned.

“Your life is worth more than that.”
Dolly from Colorado says that another major cause of fatalities is loose clothing
Next in line is the use of loose clothing and accessories near machinery—which is not news.
The American Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration warns:

“When you are within an arm’s length of a machine, do not wear loose clothing, neckties, gloves, sweaters, rings, watches, bracelets, or anything than could become entangled in the machinery or present an electrical contact hazard.”
Dolly hinted at why, saying: “If you Google what degloving is, you’ll know why I said that.”
Inappropriate motorcycle gear also makes it onto the list
Last on her list is not so much motorcycles, but rather the lack of appropriate motorcycle gear.

“You can look cute with your cheeks hanging out, but when you hit that pavement… you are the cheese,” Dolly claimed.
Hog Law, a Florida-based law firm that helps motorcycle accident victims, is one of many that mirror this observation and advocate heavily for helmet use.
It claims that 37 out of 100 people die from not wearing their headgear.
Despite seeing it all, she is still squeamish

Dolly goes on to say, “I’ve basically seen it all, but then something new pops up and surprises me.”
While she may be desensitized to mangled human bodies, it does not mean she is not squeamish.
She finds the smell of decaying food unmanageable. She recalled an experience barely a year into her career.

An individual was on their way back from a grocery run when they got into a fatal car accident.
Their body was found weeks after, and when it landed on the morgue table and the body bag was unzipped, she recalled being greeted by a miasma like no other.
It was on that day she came the closest she has ever been to throwing up at work.
